The French Embassy in Abuja has said that the France’s public development institution, Agence Française de Dévelopement (AFD) and NBA Africa recently concluded the third season of the Jr. NBA & AFD Basketball Experience in Nigeria.
According to the Embassy, the event took place at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, on September 10th and 11th.
A statement from the Embassy ‘s Press Officer Mrs Onyinye Madu said: “The two-day celebration featured a symposium discussing the core values of the program and a workshop for physical education teachers. Topics such as mental health, hygiene, and gender equality were discussed, and the event focused on building the capacity of PE teachers to enhance the learning experience in schools.”
