The Commission of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS/CEDEAO, has officially suspended the Republic of Niger by all sub-regional bodies, until constitutional order is restored in the country.

This is contained in a statement by the regional organization, following the decisions taken at the summit of heads of state and government held on Sunday in Abuja.

22 German Firms to Invest in Nigeria

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) says it is partnering with investors from Germany to shore up the country’s investment drive as trade volume between the two countries hit over £3 billion Euros.

The Federal Government said it was committed to overhauling the education sector for better results.

The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, SAN, said this in Ikeja, while delivering the keynote speech at the Ministerial Session of the 67th National Council on Education, NCE, meeting.
