Nigeria’s Emir Attends Morocco’s Annual Ramadan Hassaniya Lectures

Nigeria’s Emir of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero has visited Morocco to attend the Annual Ramadan Hassaniya Lectures on the invitation of the King Of Morocco, King Mohammed VI.

According to a statement by the Emir’s Private Secretary, Abdullahi Haruna Kwaru made available to Diplomat Nigeria, the Monarch departed on Wednesday and was accompanied by the Dan Iyan Kano, Alhaji Ahmad Ado Bayero.

 Others are: the District Head Of Kumbotso, Ambassador Ahmad Umar OON; the Dan Malikin Kano, Alhaji Isa Sanusi Bayero and the Malam Awaisu Abbas Sanusi amongst numerous personal aides.

“While in Morocco, His Highness will engage the Moroccan authorities with a view to exploring several avenues which will bring enormous educational, religious, economic and commercial benefits to Kano and our people especially taking into account the long historic relationship that existed between Kano and Morocco for centuries.

“Highness is expected back in the country end of next week”, the statement read.
